You don’t need to know
where to start.
I’m Helmut, and I know the feeling of not being able to breathe in your own flat. I come to your home, we look at it together, and you decide at your own pace what stays. No judgement, nobody looking over your shoulder.
Moving to a new country means boxes, compromises and a flat that never quite felt like yours.
Many people came to Vienna for work, for love or for a fresh start. Some brought too much, some are about to move on again. We can do all of it in English. Years of travelling and working in international teams mean it comes naturally to me.
A system that carries you.
Tidying up is one afternoon, after which everything slowly comes back. Together we build something that lasts when I’m gone. Four steps, always the same, so you always know what comes next.
We just look
We walk through together, including the rooms you’d rather avoid. Nothing gets sorted and nothing gets thrown away. For many people this is the moment it already starts to feel lighter.
You decide
Every item gets one question, and you give the answer. I don’t push. If something can’t go today, it may stay. That is a decision too.
Everything gets a place
What stays gets a place that fits your real everyday life, not an ideal from a magazine. So that order doesn’t become another task you have to manage on the side.
You’re not left alone
Four weeks later we have a call. What works, we keep. What doesn’t, we change together.
Does it carry you, or do you carry it?
That is the only question I ask. Not whether you still need something, and not whether it sparks joy. Some things carry you: they remind you of a person, they make your day easier. Others you have been carrying for years without noticing. You usually feel the difference straight away. And you decide, not me.
Four ways we can start together
You don’t need to know yet what you need. We’ll find out in the free first call. At your home in Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland and Styria, or online if that feels easier to begin with.
First Step
The gentle start. We tackle one room that weighs on you most, and you experience straight away what order can feel like, without committing to anything bigger.
- 2 hours together, at your home or online
- 1 room or area of your choice (e.g. bedroom, kitchen, hallway, wardrobe)
- Visible quick wins during the session
- Concrete next steps, summarised in writing
- Follow-up call after 4 weeks (approx. 30 min)
Living Space
The heart of my work. Enough time to really think through several rooms, with a clear plan that lasts beyond the session.
- 5 hours together, at your home or online (can be split into two sessions)
- 2–3 rooms or connected areas
- Personal organisation plan, tailored to your daily life and family
- Recommendations for storage, routines and systems
- Follow-up call after 4 weeks (approx. 30 min)
Letting Go
For the big, emotional transitions. I accompany you at your pace, whether it’s clearing a flat, a parent’s home or a new start after a loss.
- Full-day sessions, several dates possible
- Whole flat, house or larger living areas
- Specialised in parental homes, estates and flat clearances
- Coordination of disposal, donations and pick-ups
- Follow-up call after 4 weeks (approx. 30 min)
Home Office Clarity
For everyone who works from home. Paper filing, digital filing and tech around your workspace, from my background in IT consulting.
- At your home or online, duration as needed
- Desk, workspace and paper filing
- Digital filing: folders, desktop, email and cloud
- A clear line between working and living
- Follow-up call after 4 weeks (approx. 30 min)
I know what too much feels like.
I didn’t come to decluttering through Instagram. I was at the point myself where everything was too much, and I experienced how much lighter life becomes when you let some of it go.
Before this I worked in garden design, train dispatching and six years of IT consulting. What connects them: seeing quickly where a space gets in its own way, staying calm when everything happens at once, and making complex systems simple.
I’m a certified decluttering coach, and I coach in English and German.
The first step is a conversation.
